Clo'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter
    2 c. sugar
    flavoring as desired
    1 doz. large eggs
    3 c. plain flour
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, alternately with flour until all are well mixed.
    Add salt.
    Pour into tube pan.
    Begin baking in cold oven. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/4 hours.
