Betty'S Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. Karo Syrup
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter, melted
    1 c. whole half pecans
    1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
Preparation
    Mix together eggs, syrup, salt, vanilla, sugar and butter. Stir in nuts and pour into pastry shell.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and continue baking for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Filling should appear slightly less set in the center.
