Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. corn meal
1 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
1 egg, beaten
3 Tbsp. onion, chopped

Preparation

Mix dry ingredients.
Add remaining ingredients.
Drop by small spoonfuls into deep, hot fat.
Puppies float when done.
