Caramel Nut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 lb. light brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    5 eggs
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 3/8 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 c. finely chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream butter, brown sugar and shortening. Gradually add white sugar and beat. Add eggs 1 at a time and beat. Combine baking powder, flour and salt. Add alternately with milk. Add vanilla and nuts. Blend well. Grease and flour pan. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours. Let cool 15 minutes and take out of pan.
