Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bacon, fried crisp
    3 Tbsp. bacon drippings
    1 c. white or brown rice
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    2 c. water
    1/4 c. catsup
    1 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation
    In bacon drippings, cook rice, onion and green pepper until onion is tender. Add bacon and other ingredients. Cover and simmer over low heat about 30 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid absorbed. Makes 5 to 6 servings.
