Ingredients

1/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. vinegar
1 (No. 2) can diced beets, drained
1 Tbsp. butter
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Mix
sugar and cornstarch; add water and vinegar.
Boil for 5 minutes.
Drain
beets and add.
Cook on low heat until beets are heated.
Add
butter or margarine; season with salt and pepper.
