Pumpkin Soup With Rivels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium pumpkin
    1/2 gal. milk
    salt
    pepper
    flour
    4 eggs
Preparation
    Peel pumpkin and cut into small squares.
    Boil until soft. Do not drain water.
    Add milk until pumpkin is covered.
    Bring to a simmer.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Beat eggs with fork.
    Add flour slowly and keep mixing until it gets a little thick (like dumplings).
    Drop this mixture into pumpkin 1/2 teaspoon at a time; let simmer 20 minutes.
    Serve.
