Cabbage Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. chopped cabbage
    1 bay leaf
    2 tsp. bacon bits
    1 c. spicy V-8 juice (small can)
    1 qt. water, plus
    3 beef bouillon cubes
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 tsp. salt
    hamburger
    diced potatoes
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients (except juice, potatoes and hamburger).
    Simmer over medium
    heat until tender; then discard bay leaf.
    Add juice, diced potatoes and partly fried hamburger. Cook until potatoes are soft.
