Beef And Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion
    2 cloves garlic
    1 1/2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 tsp. thyme
    salt and pepper
    16 oz. whole tomatoes
    3 Tbsp. bread crumbs
    1 tsp. dried marjoram
    1 1/2 lb. potatoes
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1 Tbsp. oil
Preparation
    Heat oven to 450\u00b0.
    Oil a 2-quart casserole.
    Chop onion and garlic.
    Cook in oil the onion, then garlic, for 1 minute. Crumble beef in pan.
    Add salt, pepper, thyme and marjoram; cook until browned.
    Peel and thinly slice potatoes.
    Drain and chop tomatoes.
    Add tomatoes and bread crumbs to beef.
    Arrange 1/2 potatoes on bottom of pan, overlapping halfway up sides.
    Pack beef into pan.
    Cover with remaining potatoes.
    Bake until browned, for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Serves 4.
