Whole-Grain Soda Bread - cooking recipe

1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1 c. quick cooking oats, uncooked
1/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
all-purpose flour
6 Tbsp. margarine or butter
1 1/2 c. golden raisins
2 tsp. caraway seed
1 1/2 c. buttermilk *
Preparation

About 4 hours before serving or early in day, preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease cookie sheet.
In large bowl, combine first 6 ingredients and 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour.
With pastry blender or two knives used, scissor-fashion, cut in margarine or butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Stir in raisins and caraway seed.
Stir in buttermilk just until flour is moistened (dough will be sticky).
