Cottage Herb Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. active dry yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. oregano
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. cold margarine
    1 c. cottage cheese
    1 egg, beaten
    melted butter or margarine
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    In large bowl, combine flour, sugar, oregano and salt.
    Mix well.
    Cut in cold margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
    Blend in cheese, egg and yeast. Turn out on well floured surface.
    Knead.
    Shape into ball.
    Place in well-greased bowl.
    Brush top with melted margarine; cover. Let rise until doubled.
    Punch down.
    Shape as desired.
    Brush with melted margarine; cover.
    Let rise again until nearly doubled.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Serve warm.
    Yield: 1 1/2 to 2 dozen.
