Frankie Rouse'S 7-Minute Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. white corn syrup
    5 Tbsp. water
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 marshmallows, cut up
Preparation
    Place all ingredients except marshmallows and vanilla in top of double boiler over boiling water and beat with a rotary beater 7 minutes or until mixture holds a peak.
    Remove from heat.
    Add vanilla and marshmallows.
    Continue to beat until well blended and apply to cake.
