Texas Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. bag frozen shredded hash browns, thawed
    1/2 c. butter, melted
    1 tsp. pepper
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 onion, chopped
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    2 c. sour cream
    2 c. corn flakes, crushed
    1/4 c. butter
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients but last two.
    Place in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Top with crushed corn flakes and dot with butter. Bake uncovered at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Serves 8 to 10.
