Chicken Or Turkey Strata - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 slices whole wheat bread, cubed
2 c. skinned, cooked and cubed turkey or chicken
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
2/3 c. finely chopped celery
1 (4 oz.) can diced green chilies (optional)
1/2 c. nonfat mayonnaise
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 corn tortillas
Egg Beaters (equivalent to 3 eggs)
1 3/4 c. low-fat milk
1 c. low-fat cottage cheese
1 can cream of mushroom soup
Preparation

Place bread cubes in 12 x 18-inch nonstick pan.
Combine chicken, onion, celery, chilies, mayonnaise, salt and pepper in medium bowl and spoon over bread.
Tear tortillas into bite-sized pieces and place on top.
Combine eggs, milk, cottage cheese and soup in a small bowl and pour over top.
Cover and refrigerate overnight to allow flavors to blend.
Preheat oven to 325\u00b0 and bake 50 to 60 minutes or until the dish is firm and set.
Remove from oven and let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
Serves 8.
