Quick Lunch Box Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1/4 c. butter, softened
1 (17 oz.) can fruit cocktail (undrained)
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Preparation

In large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except chocolate and nuts.
Blend at low speed until moistened; beat 2 minutes at medium speed, scraping bowl occasionally.
Add chocolate and nuts and mix.
Pour batter into greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes or until cake springs back when touched lightly in center.
