Gold Kist Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. margarine
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. corn syrup (Karo)
    6 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. pecan halves or pieces
Preparation
    Cream butter.
    Add sugar, creaming until light and fluffy. Add slightly beaten eggs and other ingredients.
    When all is blended, pour into unbaked pie shell.
    Bake on lower shelf of oven at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Makes two 9-inch pies.
