Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1/4 c. water
    2 egg whites
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. broken nuts
Preparation
    Place sugar, syrup and water in saucepan over low heat. Stir until
    sugar
    is dissolved, then cook without stirring to 252\u00b0 (a little
    dropped
    into
    cold water forms a hard ball). Remove from heat
    and
    pour,
    beating
    constantly,
    in a fine stream
    into
    2 egg whites, stiffly beaten.
    Continue beating until mixture
    holds its
    shape
    and
    loses
    its
    gloss.
    Add vanilla and broken nuts.
    Drop quickly from tip of spoon onto wax paper or
    spread in\tgreased
    shallow
    pan
    and
    cut into squares when firm.
