Seafoam Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. light brown sugar
    1 c. boiling water
    2 egg whites
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cook sugar and water until it spins a thread.
    Beat egg whites with cream of tartar.
    Pour syrup over egg whites; add vanilla and beat until it will stand in patties.
