Bavarian Goulash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 pounds cubed beef
    1/4 cup vegetable oil
    4 onions, chopped
    2 tomatoes, peeled and chopped
    Salt and pepper
    Paprika
    1 bay leaf
    1 1/2 cups meat stock
    2 tablespoons flour
    1/2 cup Burgundy or other red wine
Preparation
    Heat oil. Add beef and onion, saute until meat is browned. Add tomatoes. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and paprika. Add bay leaf. Pour in stock, cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours or until beef is tender.
