Apple Or Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 c. oleomargarine
    2 1/2 c. water
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/3 c. milk
    2 1/2 c. chopped apples or peaches
    cinnamon
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Melt oleo in a 9 x 13 x 2-inch cake pan. Heat water and sugar in saucepan until sugar melts.
    Mix flour and shortening until crumbly.
    Add milk and stir with fork.
    Turn out on floured board and knead until smooth.
    Roll dough out into oblong about 1/4-inch thick.
    Sprinkle with cinnamon.
    Add fruit on top.
    Roll up like jelly roll.
    Dampen edge with water to seal. Slice dough into 16 slices, 1/2 inch thick.
    Place in pan with melted butter.
    Pour water and sugar syrup carefully around rolls. This looks like too much liquid, but the crust will absorb it. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
