Mexican Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. rice
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 pkg. taco seasoning
    1 lb. grated American cheese
    3 c. water
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    2 (16 oz.) cans chili hot beans
    1 8 oz.) pkg. tortilla chips, crushed
Preparation
    Cook rice in 3 cups water with salt for 20 minutes.
    While this is cooking, brown ground beef in skillet; drain and add taco seasoning and 2 cups water and simmer 10 minutes.
    Add beans. Spread rice in 9 x 13-inch pan; pour hamburger, bean mixture over rice.
    Spread tortilla chips over hamburger; spread cheese over tortilla chips.
    Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes.
