Codfish Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. boneless codfish
1 1/2 Tbsp. shortening
1 medium sized onion, diced
1/2 tsp. hot pepper
2 cloves garlic, diced
1/2 c. water
2 c. flour
3 eggs
Preparation
-
Soak codfish overnight.
Drain off water.
Run through meat grinder or chop in food processor with onion and garlic.
When done mix together with eggs, flour and other ingredients.
Drop by spoon into shortening or any cooking oil.
Fry until golden brown.
