graham crackers
1 c. butter (1/2 lb.)
1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1 c. nuts, chopped (your choice, almonds, pecans or walnuts)
Preparation

Line cookie sheet with sides with foil.
Arrange separated crackers on foil, side by side.
Sprinkle nuts over top of graham crackers.
Bring butter and brown sugar to a boil in small saucepan and pour over crackers evenly.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven until bubbly.
Remove from oven and let set a couple of minutes.
Cut apart with knife while still warm and cool on wax paper.
Makes about 3 dozen 1 1/2 x 3-inch cookies.
