Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    cubed steak
    1 egg
    evaporated milk
    salt
    pepper
    flour
    1 c. water
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
Preparation
    Mix egg and milk; dip steak in and then in flour.
    Brown lightly in shortening.
    Add onions and green peppers to meat in shortening.
    Add water and soup; simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
