Nancy'S Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. Jimmy Dean pork sausage (regular or hot)
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    2 large onions, chopped
    1 T. olive oil
    1 (28 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
    1 (28 oz.) can red kidney beans, drained
    1 (7 oz.) can chopped green chilies
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed chicken broth
    1 t. ground cumin
    1 t. chili powder
    1 t. black pepper
    1 t. oregano
    1/4 t. ground cloves
    1 medium clove garlic, chopped
    1 stalk celery, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
Preparation
    In frying pan, cook sausage well and drain off excess fat; set aside. Brown ground beef in frying pan and drain off excess fat; set aside. Brown onions in olive oil in large heavy pot. Add cooked sausage, ground beef and remainder of ingredients except green pepper. Stir well and simmer covered for 45 minutes. Add chopped green pepper and simmer 15 minutes longer.
