Pecan Pie Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix (set aside 2/3 c.)
4 eggs
1/2 c. melted butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. Karo syrup (white)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts

Preparation

Mix together 1 egg, melted butter and yellow cake mix (except 2/3 cup).
Pat into a greased 13 x 9-inch oblong pan.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 350\u00b0 until brown.
Mix rest of ingredients.
Pour over baked crust.
Bake 30 to 35 minutes.
Take out before completely firm.
