Million Dollar Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter
    3 c. sugar
    6 large eggs
    4 c. all-purpose flour (sifted 4 times)
    3/4 c. milk
    1 tsp. lemon extract
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Have eggs, butter and milk at room temperature.
    Combine sugar, a cup at a time, to the softened butter until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
    Sift flour four times and add to creamed mixture, 1/2 cup at a time, beating well after each.
    Stir in milk and flavorings.
    Pour in well-greased and floured tube pan.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour and 40 minutes.
