Fresh Corn-On-The-Cob - cooking recipe
Ingredients

fresh ears corn
salt
lemon juice
Preparation

Remove husks from ears of corn; brush off silks.
Drop in kettle of boiling water to cover, adding 1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon lemon juice to each quart of water.
Cover and cook 5 to 8 minutes, or until milk is set and corn is tender.
Cooking time depends on maturity of corn.
Remove from water and serve with butter, salt and ground black pepper.
