Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/4 lb. margarine
4 Tbsp. cocoa
2 1/2 c. quick oats
1/4 c. nuts (optional)
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. peanut butter (optional)
Preparation

Cook sugar, milk, margarine and cocoa over medium heat until it comes to a full rolling boil, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat.
Add nuts, oats, peanut butter and vanilla.
Beat until well blended.
Spoon onto waxed paper.
