Spinach Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed
    1 1/2 c. sour cream
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1 pkg. dry vegetable soup mix
    3 green onions, finely chopped
    1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, finely chopped (optional)
Preparation
    Squeeze spinach until dry.
    In medium bowl, stir together spinach, sour cream, mayonnaise, soup mix, onions and water chestnuts.
    Cover and refrigerate 2 hours.
    Serve with bread or crackers.
    May be used as vegetable dip.
    Makes about 3 cups.
