Banana Tea Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    3 bananas, mashed
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream shortening with sugar; then with eggs, until very light and fluffy.
    Stir in bananas.
    Sift together flour, soda and salt. Blend into banana mixture.
    Add nuts.
    Turn into a greased 9 x -5-inch loaf pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour or until done.
    Cool before slicing.
