Kahlua - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
3 c. water
1/3 c. freeze dry instant coffee
1/5 80 proof vodka
1 vanilla bean
4 oz. pure vanilla extract (optional)
Preparation

Bring sugar and water to a boil.
Set off heat.
Add instant coffee.
Let mixture cool to room temperature. Add vodka and vanilla bean.
Let mixture set 2 weeks.
Shake daily or add vanilla extract and use immediately.
