Chili Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    30 ripe tomatoes, peeled and cut up
    2 green peppers, chopped
    2 c. raw celery, chopped
    10 apples
    1/2 tsp. celery salt
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. allspice
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ground cloves
    1 c. vinegar
    3 to 4 c. brown sugar
Preparation
    Put first 4 ingredients in pot and simmer slowly for 2 to 3 hours.
    Add celery salt, salt, allspice, cinnamon and ground cloves.
    Stir constantly until thoroughly mixed.
    Add vinegar and brown sugar.
    Cook a little longer.
    Put in jars while hot and seal the jars.
    Makes 12 pints.
