24 Hour Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, torn into 1-inch pieces
    1 small onion, sliced and separated into rings
    2 c. mayonnaise
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    10 oz. frozen peas
Preparation
    Layer lettuce, onion and peas in 13 x 9-inch dish.
    Spread mayonnaise to cover.
    Sprinkle with sugar, bacon and cheese. Cover with plastic wrap.
    Refrigerate overnight.
