Louisiana Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3 eggs, well beaten
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 c. dark corn syrup
    1/2 stick butter, melted
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 (9-inch) pie shell (unbaked)
Preparation
    Mix sugar and cornstarch.
    Add eggs; beat well.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Pour into pie shell.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 325\u00b0 for 35 minutes or until firm.
