Peanut Blossoms - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. peanut butter
3 c. flour
chocolate stars

Preparation

Cream together first seven ingredients.
Add the peanut butter and mix well.
Add the flour and mix well.
Form dough into balls (walnut size) and bake on greased cookie sheet at 375\u00b0 for 8 minutes or until golden brown.
