Graham Cracker Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sifted flour
3 1/2 tsp. double-acting baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
2 c. graham cracker crumbs (approximately 30 sq. crackers)
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
3/4 c. soft shortening
1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. milk
3 eggs
Preparation

Sift together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
Add crumbs, shortening, milk and vanilla.
Beat on low speed until moistened.
Then beat on medium speed for 2 minutes.
Add eggs and beat for one more minute.
Pour batter into 2 (9-inch) greased pans.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes or until cake shrinks slightly from edge of pan.
Cool.
Frost or use whipped cream and fruit if wanted.
