Cinnamon Buns - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. Crisco
    1/2 to 3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Sift together first 5 ingredients.
    Mix Crisco into dry ingredients.
    Add milk last.
    Roll out dough into a large rectangle; spread with melted butter.
    Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
    Roll up in the shape of a jelly roll and cut in 1-inch strips.
    Place cut side down on a greased pan or any type cookie sheet.
    Bake for 20 minutes at 375\u00b0.
    When cool, if you prefer, you can make powdered sugar icing.
