Easy Pineapple Coffee Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix, divided (Duncan Hines)
1 c. brown sugar, packed
3/4 c. walnuts, chopped
1/2 stick butter (firm)
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. sour cream
1 tsp. almond flavoring
1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
Preparation

Mix together 2/3 cup of the dry cake mix, brown sugar, walnuts and butter.
Cut with pastry cutter until crumbly; reserve.
Beat together eggs, sour cream, flavoring and remaining cake mix. Spread half of cake batter in a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch baking container.
Top with half the pineapple and sprinkle with half the brown sugar mixture.
Spoon remaining batter over brown sugar mixture.
Spread gently with spoon.
Top with remaining pineapple and sprinkle with brown sugar mixture.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 to 60 minutes.
Makes 16 to 20 pieces.
