Spiced Green Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. small tomatoes (green)
    2 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. whole cloves
    1 Tbsp. white mustard seed
    4 c. white sugar
    1 Tbsp. stick cinnamon
    1 tsp. whole allspice
Preparation
    Combine sugar, vinegar and spices; bring mixture to the boiling point and pour over tomatoes.
    Let stand 4 hours or overnight.
    Drain off liquid and cook until it coats a spoon.
    Add tomatoes and cook until clear (about 12 minutes).
    Seal in clean hot jars immediately.
