Poppy Seed Cheese Bread - cooking recipe

1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz.)
1 c. all-purpose biscuit mix
1/3 c. milk
1 egg
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 Tbsp. poppy seed
Preparation

Combine 1/2 cup cheese and biscuit mix in a mixing bowl.
Add milk; stir just until flour is moistened.
Pat dough over bottom of a greased 8 or 9-inch pie plate.
Combine remaining cheese, egg and onion.
Spread over biscuit dough.
Sprinkle with poppy seed. Bake at 425\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
