Pecan Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. light Karo syrup
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. chopped pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. butter or margarine
    1 Tbsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Mix Karo and sugar in a glass bowl.
    Put in microwave on High for 4 minutes.
    Add nuts.
    Microwave for 3 1/2 more minutes. Remove and add vanilla, butter and soda.
    Spread on greased cookie sheet.
    Let cool.
    Crack into pieces.
