Yeast Buns - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yeast
    1 c. lukewarm water
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. melted shortening
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in water.
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Stir yeast mixture into dry.
    Add shortening.
    Knead on floured board until smooth.
    Roll out 1/2-inch.
    Cut into biscuits; let rise 1 hour. Bake in hot oven until brown.
    Makes 8 buns.
