Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white sugar
    1 1/2 c. light brown sugar
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. broken pecan pieces
Preparation
    Boil sugar, cream of tartar and milk until soft ball stage. Remove from heat and add vanilla and nuts.
    Beat mixture until it begins to thicken.
    Place on waxed paper by teaspoonfuls.
