White Potatoes And Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. white potatoes
    2 medium onions, sliced thin
    4 c. cooking oil
    1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Peel, wash
    and
    slice
    the
    potatoes crossways; drain. Place the 4 cups
    of
    cooking
    oil
    in a frypan and heat until hot. Place the potatoes
    in the frypan a few at a time.
    Cook until a light
    brown;
    remove
    potatoes and remove the cooking oil from the frypan.
    Pour
    1 cup of water into the frypan and add the sliced onions.
    Let
    the onions cook for 5 minutes and add the potatoes.
    Sprinkle
    the
    flour
    over the potatoes and cook over a slow fire for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Serves 6 to 8 people.
