Canned Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. cabbage, shredded
    3 large onions, chopped fine
    2 large bell peppers, chopped
    3 carrots, grated
    1 c. white vinegar
    3 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. plain salt
    1 tsp. black pepper
    1 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1 1/2 pt. mustard
    6 jalapeno peppers
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients in pan; bring to boil.
    Reduce heat; simmer for 20 minutes.
    Put in sterilized jars and seal.
    Makes approximately 9 pints.
