Pumpkin Seeds - cooking recipe

pumpkin seeds
water
cooking oil
salt
Preparation

Wash seeds.
Steam seeds (colander inside a pot).
Put water into the bottom of the colander or strainer.
Cook covered at a fairly high heat about 30 minutes; add more water if needed.
Dump seeds on paper towel and pat dry.
Spread on cookie sheet.
Pour a little oil (just enough to make seeds shiny when you stir them around).
Sprinkle with salt.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for about 1/2 hour. Eat for snack.
