Corn Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. self-rising flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. chili powder
    1/3 to 1/2 c. water (until good pancake consistency achieved)
    3/4 c. corn meal
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg, beaten slightly
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients.
    Pour 4 inch circles on hot griddle and cook until golden brown.
    Serve topped with chili, lettuce, tomatoes, grated cheese, sour cream, taco sauce, onions and black olives (any topping you desire).
