Easy Mints - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. powdered sugar
    3 Tbsp. butter, softened
    3 1/2 Tbsp. evaporated milk
    1/4 to 1/2 tsp. peppermint or almond extract
    few drops food coloring
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
    Knead in bowl until smooth.
    Let the children roll into 1-inch balls and flatten on wax paper with tines of fork.
    Let dry overnight.
    Then store in airtight containers.
    Makes about 5 dozen.
