Potato Kugel (Pudding) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Grated potatoes (by hand, in blender or with grinder)
    1 onion, grated
    1 carrot (optional)
    1 egg
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. matzo meal or flour
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Grate potatoes, draining excess water.\tGrate onion (and carrot), add to potatoes.
    Mix in remaining ingredients and pour into an 8 inch or 9 inch square greased pan.
    Sprinkle with paprika to aid in browning.
    Bake at 375 for 1 hour or until golden brown on top.
    Serves 2 to 3 - Can be doubled for a 9 x 13 pan.
